A brief history of the Red Parrot

December 2000 marked the initial opening of The Red Parrot Bar and Grill, situated at 06 Le Quy Don Street, Vung Tau. Previously a dirt lane adjacent to essentials mini mart, the site was originally developed in early 2000 by my wife – Ms. Cao Thi Kim Nhung – as a coffee shop with seating for 300 patrons under the banner “Inspirations”.

Enjoy a freindly (or competitive) game of pool any time.

The Red Parrot is a great place for a drink with friends.

Due to the ever changing face of Vung Tau, a decision was made in late 2000 to convert these premises to a bar and grill. The original interior décor with regard to the wooden “J” shaped bar together with the glass, wood & inox shelving was designed, fabricated and donated by Mr. Frank Beudeker, a commissioning engineer & naval architect, resident in Vung Tau.

The Red Parrot extensions, which commenced in June 2006 to expand and upgrade The Red Parrot were designed, commissioned and completed in July of the same year, again, by my wife Ms. Cao Thi Kim Nhung.
